I have to rant about this. This image is what set it off:

What is with this rediculous Emo image? Promoting suicide without the guts to carry it through. Idolising suicide without reason for it - simple attention seeking. I'm so heart broken and so sad that I'm going to shoot myself in the head and everyone look at me look at me pay attention to me I'm not actually going to do it but here I am publicly displaying it so you feel bad and stop me and give me loads of attention.

I'm not against expression of art and emotion. Hell, I don't think I'm even against suicide really - it's a complicated matter which I don't think I can judge. But it's fucking pathetic attention seeking that I can't stand. It's just a way to feed their narcisism.

Two Recent Web Publications

Recently I've had two web publications. Not my best work, but two strange stories I thought I could find a place for online. So I'm pleased.

"Into the Arms of Lucifer" is at demonminds.com as of today. A short, almost surreal, horror story about a man who finds himself in hell.

"The Fallen Safat", found at mytholog.com, is completely different. It's a short tale inspired by the mythology of the Safat birds and the Wendigos. Subtle horror - a very different tone.
